Abstract
⺠Atmospheric degradation of different unsaturated alcohols with Cl atoms is investigated using smog chamber/GC techniques. ⺠The identified and quantified gas-phase products were mainly carbonyl compounds. ⺠The addition of Cl to the double bond of the unsaturated alcohol is the dominant reaction pathway. ⺠The H-abstraction channel cannot be excluded.
