Abstract
⺠Atmospheric composition of three cities in South America was investigated. ⺠Organic and inorganic chemical composition of the particulate matter was useful to study the anthropogenic and natural markers. ⺠Benzo[a]pyrene equivalent values meant a significant cancer risk. ⺠Formate/acetate ratios indicated the strong contribution of photochemical reactions.
