Abstract
⺠Upgrades were added to the LNOM for modeling NOx production from mechanisms other than the return stroke. ⺠LNOM output statistics for channel length, and NOx per flash, are provided. ⺠Impact of the LNOM-derived lightning NOx source on CMAQ ozone predictions is provided. ⺠A preliminary estimate of global annual lightning NOx is given.
