Abstract
⺠SLALOM enables the retrieval of cloud properties with very fast computation speed. ⺠SLALOM provides robust estimates of cloud optical thickness and cloud effective radius for geostationary satellites. ⺠Cloud properties show a very good agreement with well known cloud products over the Atlantic. ⺠CloudSat 2B-TAU product forms a very good validation source for cloud optical thickness retrievals.
