Abstract
⺠The unsteady motion of the fall of the conical graupel is modeled for the first time. ⺠The inclination has important impact on the flow fields, especially the drag force and the vortex shedding. ⺠The drag coefficient decreases with increasing inclination angle. ⺠The vortex shedding frequency increases with increasing inclination angle.
