Abstract
⺠The sensitivity of aerosol effects to deep convective entrainment has been explored. ⺠More entrainment leads to increased aerosol load near sources & decreases elsewhere. ⺠Particularly for absorbing aerosol, as source regions have frequent deep convection. ⺠Response: more surface solar radiation in remote regions. Opposite for source regions. ⺠Aerosol indirect effect increases if aerosol increases coincide with liquid clouds.
