Abstract
⺠We developed a meaningful, multi-scale, and automatic storm-classification technique. ⺠Storms were hand classified into supercell, short-lived convective, ordinary, and line. ⺠A dataset of storm characteristics was developed from every hand-classified storm. ⺠Using storm characteristics, the decision tree was developed. ⺠The decision tree successfully classifies storms into the four types.
