Abstract
⺠The rate based model is developed to predict the CO2 absorption by MEA solution. ⺠The CO2 flux of PTFE membrane can be predicted without using a fitting parameter. ⺠The model well predicts the flux of PVDF membrane under partially-wetted mode condition. ⺠The proposed model is most sensitive to the value of Henry's constant. ⺠The absorption regime changes when the membrane is partially wetted.
