Abstract
► Electrospun PVDF-HFP membrane developed for MD applications. ► Heat pressing of electrospun membrane improved and controlled membrane properties. ► Membranes were tested in direct contact membrane distillation (DCMD) setup. ► The performance of the developed membranes was comparable to commercial membranes.
