Abstract
⺠Novel acetylated cellulose ether (ACE) membranes were prepared for desalination applications. ⺠ACEs are very soluble in organic solvents and have high molecular weight. ⺠ACE membranes exhibit high desalination performance. ⺠PA-ACE TFC membranes show high FO water flux and low salt passage.
