Abstract
⺠Polymer inclusion membranes (PIMs) extract U(VI) from H2SO4 solutions. ⺠These PIMs are made of PVC and di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid (D2EHPA). ⺠The effect of the main parameters of the PIM-uranium extraction system is studied. ⺠A mathematical model of the PIM-uranium extraction system is developed. ⺠It is used to determine the PIM extraction constant and diffusion coefficient.
