Abstract
► We examine the spatiotemporal distribution of snow in eastern Tibet. ► We compare MODIS snow product and microwave snow depth dataset. ► The concept of FSCE is proposed based on two parameters of snow-free period Tm and ΔT. ► We analyze temperature and precipitation, statistics and trend test of Tm and ΔT. ► It illustrates snow distribution here is precipitation-driven at high elevations but temperature-driven in the low.
