Abstract
âºWe present a lidar/multi-spectral/multi-angular approach for boreal forest mapping. âºGLAS lidar heights are used to train forest height models using MISR or MODIS data. âºFiltering GLAS height data with ancillary data flags the least accurate heights. âºThe most accurate models are those that include MISR imagery with snow cover. âºMODIS results are less accurate under both snow-covered and snow-free conditions.
