Abstract
⺠Design of AWiFS sensor substantially different that Landsat Thematic Mapper. ⺠Imagery comparison reveals similar measurement performance. ⺠AWiFS sensor appears to be degrading radiometrically over time. ⺠The AWiFS shortwave infrared sensor image geometry differs from VNIR bands. ⺠Agriculture and forest applications produce similar products using either sensor.
