Abstract
⺠Four different models were compared for estimating vegetation phenology in India. ⺠The Whittaker and Fourier models provided the best fit to the raw time-series data. ⺠The double logistic model provided the best fit to simulated data with noise added. ⺠The effects of uncertainty and model choice on phenological estimates were shown. ⺠The information will be of use to researchers estimating phenology from space.
