Abstract
⺠Fuel moisture content (FMC) is the ratio of water content to dry-matter content. ⺠Hypothesis: estimate FMC using ratios of spectral water to dry-matter indices. ⺠Relationships between FMC and ratios of spectral indices were non-linear. ⺠Best dry-matter spectral index is based on a CH stretch overtone at 1722 nm.
