Abstract
⺠We highlight the usefulness of the Sentinel data stream for advancing Earth System Models. ⺠We outline a high-level strategy for the utilization of the Sentinel data stream in the context of ESMs. ⺠We show how the Sentinel data stream could be used for improving process understanding and model parameterizing and fostering integrated processing.
