Abstract

âº We present a new algorithm for CO retrieval from SWIR radiance measurements. âº Simplified radiative transfer is implemented to account for scattering by clouds. âº Single cloud layers can be treated with a CO retrieval accuracy of <2-3%. âº Prior uncertainty of methane is an important CO error source (â¤9 \%).
