Abstract
► Five OSN membranes are studied for the separation of lignin oxidation products. ► Pure solvent fluxes differ significantly whereas all model compounds permeate easily. ► Monomers can efficiently be separated from the product mixture with all membranes. ► Monomer rejection is always below 39% and for all except monomers always above 77%. ► Separation time and rejection of large products finally determine the best membrane.
