Abstract
⺠A technique is developed for microstructural optimization of mordenite membranes. ⺠An ultrathin seed layer is formed by using assembled nanocrystals. ⺠A high performance mordenite membrane is grown directly on a macroporous support. ⺠Fâ is used as one of the microstructure modifiers to optimize distribution of Al atom in film. ⺠Grain boundaries can be kept intact for long-term acidic corrosion.
