Abstract
⺠Volunteered geographic information on land cover was captured with a web-based interface. ⺠Control points allowed measures volunteer reliability to be calculated. ⺠Geographically weighted (GW) models were used to generate surfaces of accuracy. ⺠GW regression generated mapped correspondences to global land cover datasets. ⺠The maps show where specific global land cover datasets are most reliable.
