Abstract
⺠NDVI-based model can be used to predict winter wheat in Ukraine two to three months prior to harvest. ⺠Performance of models varies within agro-climatic zones. ⺠Models were robust while adding new NDVI and winter wheat yield data. ⺠NDVI-based models gave similar accuracy to meteorological and CGMS models while providing minimum requirements to input datasets.
