Abstract
► A unique sandwich-like sublayer structure is obtained with a dual-layer hollow fiber membrane. ► It provides minimal water transport resistance and sufficient mechanical strength. ► A double-repulsive membrane is formed by interfacial polymerization. ► Superior rejections are achieved for both of the positively and negatively charged dyes.
