Abstract
⺠Chitosan coating improves gas barrier properties of PE. ⺠Coated films are 1000 times less permeable than PE in dry conditions. ⺠Chitosan coating increases moisture sensitivity of PE. ⺠Ethanol and glycerol have opposite effect on chitosan film permeability.
