Abstract
⺠A case study of drilling predation from Miocene of Kutch, India is reported. ⺠This assemblage shows high degree of prey selection by gastropod drillers. ⺠The prey selection involves size, taxonomy, site, and valve preference. ⺠The success rate of drilling improves with ontogeny of the driller. ⺠The Miocene global average of predation intensity is comparable to this study.
