Abstract
► We analyze stability in Upper Cambrian-Lower Ordovician trilobite communities. ► Migration seems to be very relevant in the assembly of meta-communities. ► There is no stability in the structure of biotic gradients among intervals. ► Taxa seem to respond individualistically to environmental changes. ► These results do not show convincing evidence to support ecological stability.
