Abstract
⺠We analyze stability in Upper Cambrian-Lower Ordovician trilobite communities. ⺠Migration seems to be very relevant in the assembly of meta-communities. ⺠There is no stability in the structure of biotic gradients among intervals. ⺠Taxa seem to respond individualistically to environmental changes. ⺠These results do not show convincing evidence to support ecological stability.
