Abstract
⺠Crushing predation is a major source of mortality for marine invertebrates. ⺠Crushing predation has often been estimated by repair frequency. ⺠Interpretation of changes in repair frequency can be ambiguous. ⺠Examination of changes in the size refuge of the prey can solve this issue. ⺠First empirical study of the size refuge method.
