Abstract
⺠Lezetxiki II is a human-bearing site from the early Late Pleistocene MIS 5. ⺠It has the southwesternmost record of Sicista found to date in Eurasia. ⺠Pleistocene cold episodes pushed Sicista south- and westward into Europe. ⺠Cold, moderately humid conditions at Lezetxiki were ideal for Sicista betulina.
