Abstract
⺠High-resolution analyses are performed on Late Miocene Lake sediments. ⺠Geophysical and biotic proxies reveal several sub-Milankovitch cycles. ⺠Frequencies and modulations of the cycles are comparable with Holocene solar cycles. ⺠Each proxy responds individually to the forcing mechanism. ⺠A strong modulation of Holocene solar cycles is demonstrated by raw data filters.
