Abstract
⺠We focus on the relationship of authigenic carbonate formation and microbial activity. ⺠We investigate the impact of biogeochemical processes on organic-rich sedimentary strata. ⺠Carbonates resulted from three microbially-driven processes: sulphate reduction, methanogenesis, and AOM.
