Abstract
⺠Dominant effects for heat and mass transfer in DCMD process were analyzed by CFD. ⺠CFD simulation was performed for membrane modules without and with annular baffles. ⺠Baffles can enhance the mass flux of a membrane with high membrane coefficient. ⺠Higher operating temperatures are preferable for improving the heat/mass transfer.
