⺠Molluscs from Pleistocene Mediterranean as signals for climate reconstruction. ⺠Warm Pleistocene episodes with lower degree of seasonality than today. ⺠Winter palaeosea surface temperature on average 4 °C warmer than today. ⺠Palaeosea surface salinity close to that in tropical W Africa. ⺠Hydrological regime with more rainfall/runoff input than today.
