Abstract
⺠Chlorine-resistant disulfonated copolymer (BPS-20)-silica nanocomposites are fabricated for membrane desalination. ⺠Homogenously distributed silica particles improve salt rejection without significant loss of water permeability. ⺠At a high concentration, the silica provides a barrier which reduces water permeability.
