Abstract
⺠Cleaning of organic-fouled RO membrane can be intensified by using TRP. ⺠The phase transition of TRP facilitates the removal of foulants on membrane surface. ⺠The efficiency of the intensified cleaning is largely affected by the type of TRP. ⺠The cleaning efficiency can be enhanced by increasing the concentration of TRP solution. ⺠The cleaning efficiency can be improved by prolonging the soaking time of TRP solution.
