Abstract
⺠Study identified emerging health risks due to modern agriculture practice in India. ⺠Mechanization in agriculture has resulted in more accidents and injuries. ⺠Ecological changes due to rice cultivation further augmented mosquito breeding. ⺠Changing diet pattern has resulted in overweight but malnutrition still persists. ⺠Women faced a greater risk of both extremes of under-nutrition and being overweight.
