Abstract
⺠This is the first random statewide survey of LA's recreational fishers. ⺠Average monthly meals of total fish was 4, of which half were sportfish. ⺠Most eaten: redfish, speckled trout, catfish, bass, crappie, bream, flounder. ⺠At-risk populations: women, African-Americans, coastal fishing communities. ⺠Default exposure scenarios can lead to misdirected monitoring or advisories.
