Abstract
⺠Two lead products, paint and additives to gasoline, are major sources of lead dust. ⺠Soil lead and blood lead on public and private properties were analyzed. ⺠A disparity of soil lead and blood lead exists between the inner-city and outer city. ⺠At least 5-10 times more lead was used in gasoline additives than in paint. ⺠Gasoline lead plausibly explains the inner/outer city soil lead and blood lead disparity.
