Abstract
⺠First study to measure organochlorine compounds (OC) such as PCB and organochlorine pesticides in older Canadians. ⺠Plasma major OC concentrations were higher in women than in men. ⺠Age was positively and male sex was negatively associated with major OC concentrations. ⺠Plasma OC concentrations were well within the ranges observed in other studies.
