Abstract
⺠Fouling and transmission studies of microalgae (Chlorella sorokiniana). ⺠Direct microscopic observation technique is used to visualise the algae deposition. ⺠A higher threshold flux occurs at a higher cross-flow velocity. ⺠EPS transmission is affected by cross-flow velocity, flux and membrane properties. ⺠Air bubbling can control algae deposition on the membrane surface.
