Abstract
⺠Atomic layer deposition (ALD) is effective in coating oxides on polymer membranes. ⺠Membrane pore sizes were tuned by ALD at a sub-angstrom preciseness. ⺠The deposited membranes showed rising retention and reducing flux. ⺠Al2O3-deposited membranes displayed improved hydrophilicity. ⺠Al2O3-deposited membranes showed good resistance to acids and organic solvents.
