Abstract
⺠Membrane based CO2 separation process from atmospheric air was proposed and tested for an application for green houses. ⺠The liquid membrane material was a mixture of amine and glycol liquids. ⺠The 3-layered construction of the supported liquid membrane allowed the membrane thin of 20 μm and durable. ⺠The separation performance of the amine-liquid membrane was analyzed based on the permeability of CO2 through the amine-liquid. ⺠Discussions based on the solution-diffusion mechanism for gas permeation were made for the permeability of CO2 through the amine/glycol liquid membranes.
