Abstract
⺠Increasing amount of plastic waste needs to be recycled and separated. ⺠Triboelectrostatic separation is a promising method for plastic wastes recycling. ⺠We summarize the devices and present a general integrated separation process. ⺠Impact factors and numerical methods are discussed for optimizing the technology. ⺠Both challenges and opportunities exist for improving the technology.
