Abstract
► The gas chromatography indicated the variable quality of the producer gas. ► The char had appreciable NPK values, and can be used as a fertiliser. ► The bio-oil produced was of poor quality, having high moisture content and low pH. ► Mass and energy balances showed inadequate level energy recovery from the process. ► Future work includes changing the operating parameters of the gasification unit.
