Abstract
⺠The fabrication of multichannel anatase TiO2 membrane with an average pore size of 3.3 nm for ultrafiltration via a template assisted sol-gel process, using (EO)13(PO)30(EO)13 as a template to modify the properties of the sols and the membranes. ⺠The sample obtained from the sol containing L64 has larger average pore size of 3.7 nm, pore volume of 0.11 cm3 gâ1 and specific surface area of 94.3 m2 gâ1 than the corresponding properties of the sample from the sol without L64. ⺠The good separation performance of the resulted multi-channel TiO2 membrane indicates its potential applications in the enrichment or separation of proteins and polypeptide in industrial production.
