Abstract
⺠Metal ions accelerate humic acid fouling of a hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane. ⺠Metal ions increase aggregation of humic acid and the deposition on the surface. ⺠Control of metal ions in feed solutions is essential for inhibiting membrane fouling.
