A novel positively charged nanofiltration membrane prepared from N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate by quaternization cross-linking

► A NF membrane was prepared by UV-induced graft polymerization and quarternization cross-linking. ► The membrane hydrophilicity was obviously enhanced. ► The NF membrane water flux reached 60.3 L/(m2 h MPa). ► The MgCl2 rejection (1.0 g/L) of the NF membrane reached 93.2%.
