Abstract
ⶠPd-Ag membranes were prepared by electroless plating onto modified stainless steel supports. ⶠAl2O3 was applied inside the substrate porous system employing a vacuum assisted-coating method. ⶠXPS provided evidence of surface PdAg alloy formation. ⶠXPS confirmed preferential segregation of Ag. ⶠNeither EDS nor XPS identified Fe or Cr in the Pd-Ag layers.
