Abstract
⺠Intertidal meiofauna in Cadiz Bay were dominated by nematodes in all seasons. ⺠Macroalgae bloom increased further the dominance of nematodes. ⺠Community changes were related to higher input of macroalgal detritus to the sediment. ⺠Meiofaunal abundance and taxonomic composition seem to be bottom-up controlled.
