Relationship between wind and seagrass meadows in a non-tidal eutrophic lagoon studied by a Wave Exposure Model (WEMo)

► NOAA Wave Exposure Model was used to test the relationship between wind and seagrass. ► Model and statistics showed a direct correlation between resuspension areas and seagrass. ► The model showed significant differences between surface and bottom hydrodynamics. ► Areas with higher wave energy were inversely correlated with seagrass biomass.
