Abstract
⺠The study was conducted in the Jade Bay, a tidal basin of the southern North Sea. ⺠A dense sampling grid was applied to assess in detail metal contents. ⺠The study focused on surface sediments and suspended particulate matter. ⺠Such studies may serve as guidelines to fulfill European directives.
